Driver Training Programs

SJR 378 (2007)

Purpose
In conducting its study, the joint subcommittee shall (i) evaluate the curriculum used by school-based and commercial driving schools; (ii) survey other states to identify innovative approaches to driver training; (iii) consider the appropriateness of the curriculum for new adult drivers, especially those for whom English is a second language; and (iv) make recommendations to the General Assembly for revision of such curriculum as appropriate.
